Fraga’s paintings are rich tapestries of layered florals, lovebirds, butterflies, and intricate patterns, all rendered on antiqued frescoed birch panels. Her work draws inspiration from vintage Parisian wallpapers. Fraga’s work carries the spirit of old-world romance. Her paintings, dreamlike and timeworn, feel as though they’ve been uncovered from a forgotten Parisian salon or a secret corner of a crumbling estate. Florals, songbirds, and decorative motifs unfurl across frescoed birch panels, each surface bearing the marks of memory, as if the past itself is blooming through. There’s a gentleness here, a hush. Her palette sings in softened reds, antique pinks, sky blues, and dusky golds—tones that murmur rather than shout. Fraga’s pieces are not meant to be “understood” in the traditional sense, but rather felt. They speak of longing, beauty, and the quiet resilience of love.
