About Elizabeth
I specialize in oils and mixed media, using elements like vintage wallpaper and old magazines. My process-oriented style evolves from initial textures and images, allowing the art to finish itself. Nostalgic scraps contribute to the layers, inviting viewers to discover bits of the past.
I was born in West Boise, where scattered neighborhoods met farmland and dusty roads, dotted with abandoned houses and barns. The colors of my childhood—soft pinks, turquoise, and yellowed book pages—spark bittersweet memories of growing up in a small town during the 70s and 80s. Nostalgia inspires my work as I seek the right shades to complement my creations. I hold a BFA in painting from Boise State University.
